Every year on 29th September, World Heart Day is celebrated throughout the world to spread awareness against the deadly cardiovascular disease. The day inspires people to address the activities that conclude this disease and eliminate them. It doesn’t mean that you have to plunge into the depth, just do the things you can to make people aware of this fatal disease. Every year more than 17 million people lose their life due to heart related disease, so it’s essential for all of us to take precautions. Here is a list of things you can do to keep your heart strong and healthy.
· Firstly, if you smoke quit it.
· Start eating healthy and focus on exercise.
· Visit your doctor and check whether or not your cholesterol and glucose levels are stable.
Though we have stepped into a modern world with adequate health facilities, our health status constantly keeps on degrading. Why? Just spin around and take a look at the life style we’ve adopted. Unhealthy junk foods, obesity and use of tobacco based items, it’s quite important to say that most of us are grasped by the likes of an unhealthy lifestyle. So unless we initialize our steps to do something better, it’s going to be the same. So, this year let’s encourage people to change their lifestyle and start adopting healthy behaviors. And also promote educational programs to inspire and educate people about the importance of maintaining a good heart.
